QUOTE: "You both may not agree with how I oversee this institution, but it is easier than what you do, Hunter. You have to get inside their heads. Analyze their motives. Their past. At least I know where the exits are in here. Their minds are a maze. Labyrinths where you can lose your way." óWarden Gregory Wolfe

SUMMARY: A brutal battle rocks Iron Heights Penitentiary's Rogue Pipeline. Gorilla Grodd has escaped from captivity and, as a wave of supervillains flees from the facility, the ape unleashes pent-up fury on the scarlet speedster. Only Fallout comes to the hero's aid. Grodd soon realizes that the best way to hurt the Flash is to strike at those he cares about. After telepathically scouring Wally's mind, Grodd sets out to find a nearby friend. Above ground, Warden Wolfe is using his secret metahuman abilities to help an injured Hunter Zolomon escape from the prison. In one tragic instant, Grodd takes his revenge, seizing Zolomon and snapping the police profiler's spine. The Flash emerges from the rubble to find that Grodd has escaped and that Hunter Zolomon may never walk again.
