SUMMARY: A veritable army of criminals and supervillains is
overtaking Keystone City, led by the devilish Blacksmith and her new Rogues
Gallery. Amazingly, it's union commissioner Keith Kenyon who turns the
tide of the battle, leading legions of the city's hard-working men and
women to defend their home. The blue-collar battlers of Keystone are
soon joined by white-collar champions from Central City, and both groups
are backed-up by the power of the scarlet speedster. Without the help of
her fallen minions, Blacksmith finds herself trapped on the Van Buren
Bridge that connects the twin cities and devises a deadly endgame. Using
her command over all things metal, the villainess begins to tear the
bridge apart, prepared to send hundreds to their deaths. Moving at his
most startling speeds, the fastest man alive counters this grand
destruction and soon a defeated Blacksmith and a triumphant public
discover that the Van Buren Bridge has been reconstituted in a matter of
moments. The Flash has redesigned and rebuilt the symbolic bridge with
his own two hands! In the wake of this extraordinary battle, the
original Rogues—Captain Cold, the Weather Wizard, Mirror Master, and the
Trickster—decide that its time to reorganize. At S.T.A.R. Labs, a
precautionary medical check delivers the most stunning surprise of all:
Linda Park-West is pregnant!
