QUOTE: "I don't take orders from anybody. I'm the rogue among Rogues." —Captain Cold

SUMMARY: Len Snart endured a brutal childhood. Under the cruel hand of his alcoholic father he and his sister, Lisa, were taught to mask their emotions. As soon as he was old enough, Len ran away from home. He soon turned to a life of crime, though his first attempt at a robbery was swiftly foiled by the Flash. Once released from prison, the common crook sought revenge as a supervillain. As Captain Cold, wielder of a freeze gun capable of inducing absolute zero, Snart soon rose to prominence as one of Central City's most well-known Rogues. His continuing battles with Barry Allen also allowed him to team-up with Lisa, who adopted the identity of the Golden Glider. Years went by and many things changed, including the identity of the scarlet speedster. Len and Lisa tried to go straight for a time, only to eventually drift apart. Cold quickly returned to his criminal ways, as did his devious sister. Now, Captain Cold is tracking down the man who killed his sister, one of many partners Golden Glider provided with her brother's unique freeze gun technology and dubbed Chillblaine. The last Chillblaine has good reason to fear his counterpart, too, for though the infamous Captain Cold is best known as a thief and a vandal, Len Snart is not above killing for cold-hearted revenge.
