SUMMARY: On Christmas Eve, the Flash spends some time at the Keystone City Police Department getting to know Detective Morillo. Across town, Detective Chyre visits the grave of his former partner, Julie Jackam. There, at a Keystone cemetery, Chyre witnesses a glowing man leaving a path of destruction in his wake. The metahuman menace dubbed Fallout has escaped from Iron Heights Penitentiary and is making his way "home." Neil Borman was a mason who, whilst working at a nuclear power plant, became the victim of a terrible accident. Caught in the power plant's core water systems, Borman's biochemistry was altered and he was transformed into a walking nuclear reactor. Unaware that his body was now producing lethal amounts of neutron radiation, Borman inadvertently killed his wife and son whilst seeking their help. Now, as he slowly makes his way to the graves of his loved ones, depressed and defeated, he is spreading that same deadly radiation. The Flash races to contain the danger and capture Fallout. He quickly recognizes that this is the same abused man he once saw being painfully drained of energy by Warden Wolfe at Iron Heights. The Flash will have to use quick thinking and compassion in his effort to contain Fallout, preserve the man's own safety, and prevent further deaths. At Wally's apartment, Linda learns that Josh Jackam has been adopted by none other than Iris West, who after years of isolation is now eager to rejoin her family. The scarlet speedster's friends and family seem safe and happy this Christmas Eve, but the villainous Blacksmith and the new Rogues Gallery are slowly moving forward with their plan to eliminate the hero's allies one by one, and Jared Morillo is the next target!
