SUMMARY: Hartley Rathaway has been arrested for the murder of
his parents, a crime that he has repeatedly confessed to. Naturally, Wally
West refuses to believe that his best friend is capable of such a thing.
If the Flash is right and the Pied Piper is innocent, why does he believe he
may be responsible? Elsewhere, the Joker has recreated the
toxic chemicals that once transformed him into the demented madman he is
today and, in the hopes of spreading his legacy across the globe, the
clown prince of crime has infected hundreds of supervillains. Four of
these Jokerized villains — Warp, Deadline, Deadshot, and Merlyn — arrive
at Keystone's Iron Heights Penitentiary in order to continue spreading
their sick joke. Warden Wolfe fights to maintain control of his
facility, apparently killing Deadline in the process. Amidst this chaos,
two Rogues find themselves under the Joker's demented influence; an
injured Captain Boomerang has been revitalized by the Joker's toxin, and
the recently incercerated Pied Piper is spiraling into violence and madness
because of it!
