SUMMARY: A crazed Magenta overpowers the Flash,
immobilizes the Keystone City Police, and escapes from police
headquarters with the fastest man alive in tow. The Flash finds himself
a worshipped captive being held by the cult that has been killing men
and women in his name. Their leader is the ageless fanatic known only as
Cicada. The key to his immortality is the life energy that courses
through Wally West's super-powered body. Cicada, long having lived off
of the energy that has been passed on to the men and women saved by the
Flash, now intends to stab the hero and use that pure life energy to
resurrect his long-dead bride. Even with their chosen god in their
grasp, however, the Children of Cicada's killing spree has not come to
an end. The Flash's own bride, Linda Park-West, is in deadly peril!
