QUOTE: "Wally's voice is sharp, which surprises me. Then I realize how absurd it is to expect him to stick up for me. He looks at me and sees a fun house reflection. A darker self who ran left where he ran right... which tells him more than he wants to know about the man he could have been." óWalter West, the Dark Flash

SUMMARY: Superman and Wonder Woman explain to a gathering of shocked speedsters that the presence of Walter West, the Dark Flash from a parallel Earth, threatens to destroy our universe if he remains here much longer. The news delivers a devastating blow to Walter and Angela Margolin. The two are passionately in love with one another yet now forced to separate because of the limitations of Hypertime dimensional travel. The lovers retreat to Rome to be alone for their last hours of life together. Meanwhile, Wally West and Linda Park resume their wedding. A beautiful ceremony, with all of their superhero friends in attendance, is shockingly interrupted by Wally's fear of the future.
