SUMMARY: Though Wally West is overjoyed by the
miraculous return of his mentor, he can't help but feel as if his own
role as Keystone City's protector has been somehow diminished now that
he's sharing his duties with both Jay Garrick and the newly resurrected
Barry Allen. The timing is right, however, as the Flash will undoubtedly
need the help of his forerunners to address a growing threat. The
Combine, an enigmatic and powerful gang wielding highly-advanced
technology, is staging a series of daring heists and indiscriminately
endangering countless lives in the process. During an all-out battle
with the forces of the Combine, Barry uncharacteristically loses control
and Wally is terrified to catch a glimpse of the man's unrestrained rage
as he angrily attempts to reassert his title as the Flash, carelessly
unconcerned with his successor's well-being. Disturbingly, Barry Allen
has changed.
