SUMMARY:
After finding out under some awkward circumstances that his
best friend, the Pied Piper, is gay, the Flash is eager to get
away for a while. Superman arrives in Keystone City with the
perfect diversion, a daring rescue attempt that will require the two
fastest men alive to work together. A drug-enhanced, electrically-charged metahuman who formerly assisted the CIA in the island nation of
San Felipe is eager to get revenge on that country's corrupt dictator,
Hector Esquelito. The madman has taken Jimmy Olsen captive and
is threatening to kill him if the man of steel fails to deliver Esquelito
within twenty-four hours. Sending the Flash to San Felipe to
obtain Esquelito, Superman turns to the Central Intelligence Agency for
more answers regarding the situation. The two heroes are
going to have to think fast in order to save Jimmy's life and disable
the powerful maniac who's taken him hostage.
