SUMMARY: Millennia ago, a meteor fell to Earth and forever
transformed two primitive tribesmen. That meteor gave birth to two
eternal forces, one good and one evil. Now, a young student named Steffi
has reached an awakening. She has come to realize that she is the
Immortal Man, granted eternal reincarnation and destined to forever
oppose the endless evil that is Vandal Savage. Meanwhile, Mary West has
gone missing. The Flash enlists the aid of Chunk and the Elongated Man
in a search for his mother. The clues lead the heroes to London, where
they meet Ernesto Varni, the Italian secret agent who has taken on Mary
as his partner. Varni explains that Mary has been kidnapped by drug
lords. Wally, forced to face the uncomfortable fact that he has begun to
ignore his own mother, refuses to believe that so much of her life could
be a secret to him. Frustrated and guilt-ridden, the Flash returns home
and is stunned to find an aged Vandal Savage waiting for him.
