SUMMARY:  Detective Cleveland and the Flash are saved from Grodd and his animal army by Vixen. The animalistic superheroine assumes the strength and power of a mountain gorilla to battle the blood-thirsty gorilla on equal footing and is soon successful in driving him away. Grodd retreats to an underground lair to regroup and prepare his ultimate weapon—a device capable of broadcasting his telepathic control to every animal within a thousand miles of Keystone City. After recovering from the beating that nearly cost him his life, the scarlet speedster calls on Vixen and the Pied Piper to help him in bringing down his longtime foe. Vixen takes on the qualities of a bird, allowing Grodd's mental commands to draw her towards his secret hiding place. Unfortunately, when in an animal state her mind is soon dominated by Grodd and the Flash finds himself facing his former ally in a brutal battle! The heroes are captured by Grodd and are caged like animals, helpless to stop the mad gorilla's sinister plan for conquest and destruction.
