QUOTE: "There must be some way for you to sound even more smug and self-satisfied! After all, it's not brain surgery, it's just running fast!" —Linda Park

SUMMARY:  Linda Park continues to channel the spirit of Irish bard Seamus O'Relkig, sometimes when she least expects it. Seeking a solution to the embarrassing situation, Wally West looks to Albert Desmond. A brilliant scientist, Desmond knows something about psychic transference as he shares a sort of psychic link with his evil twin—Alvin Desmond, the supervillain known as Dr. Alchemy. After arriving at Desmond's dilapidated home Linda is unnerved by the man's eccentric habits and erratic behavior. When he takes on the guise of Dr. Alchemy the situation suddenly becomes clear. Alvin has replaced Albert in order to take revenge on the scarlet speedster! The Flash must think and act fast to avoid dangerous transmuting blasts from Alchemy's Philosopher's Stone in order to save Linda and himself from certain doom. Elsewhere, Tina and Jerry McGee are working around the clock with their own team of eccentric scientists on an artificial intelligence project that seems to be taking on a life of its own.
