QUOTE: "I always believed in will power and self-discipline. But it seems like there's something out of control inside me. Then a couple of months ago I started having flashbacks of fighting in Cuba. And Barry appeared to me... saying awful things. And I believed him." —Wally West

SUMMARY:  Wally West finds himself staying at the Center for Advanced Life Enhancement, a retreat for mystic training and re-education led by self-proclaimed psychic Lila McGrath. Linda Park has followed the scarlet speedster, posing undercover as one of the center's aspiring followers in order to uncover the true purpose driving this unusual cult. Wally has been left desperate and confused by his recent hallucinations, unsure of his place in the world, and Linda correctly observes that he might be ripe for the sort of self-help scam being offered by McGrath and her teachings. The fastest man alive believes in McGrath, however, and he believes that she might be capable of connecting him with the spirit of Barry Allen. Both Wally and Linda are in attendance at a séance McGrath holds to bring forth the spirit of Atlantean priest Llar-Twnakc, and Wally is thrilled when voices from the other side seem to call out to him. The spirit that McGrath channels for the Flash, however, may be the voice from the past that he least expects!
