SUMMARY: Wally West is holding a summer barbecue for all
those friends who helped him to defeat the Turtle, though the young hero
still doesn't seem to know how to treat them fairly in the wake of the
recent ordeal. Meanwhile, reporter Linda Park has taken on a new job in
Central City. The guest on the first episode of her new talk show is
Lila McGrath, a mystic who claims to be able to channel the spirit of an
Atlantean priest named Llar-Twnakc. Embarrassed by the subject matter of
her new series, Linda finds herself hoping that Wally isn't watching the
live premier — until terrorists storm the studio and take Linda and her
guest hostage! Fortunately, the Flash and his friends are watching the
show, and the scarlet speedster races to the studio. As the fastest man
alive subdues the attackers, however, something about the action that
unfolds fails to convince the skeptical Linda Park. When a seemingly
grateful Lila McGrath subsequently invites the wayward Wally West to
join her at one of her seminars, promising to unlock his untapped
potential, Linda prepares to follow in disguise to discover the truth
behind McGrath and her cult following.
