QUOTE:
"This is disturbing on several levels. Discounting the
monetary loss and maudlin sentiment, I misread this situation. This
Flash, this Wally West, used ordinary people to somehow thwart my plans.
I underestimated his strategic powers. It will not happen again." —The
Flash's unknown foe |

SUMMARY: Wally West has had enough of life in the Big Apple.
With the help of Mason Trollbridge and the Pied Piper he's relocating to
Keystone City, once home to Jay Garrick, a locale that will be forever
tied to the history of the Flash. The occasion is one of reunion; Wally
is eager to catch up with Joan Garrick, the wife of the original Flash,
and Piper's parents have expressed an interest in seeing their son
despite years of estrangement. Not everyone is celebrating the Flash's
return to Keystone, however. A dangerous, deliberating menace has long
been plotting to prevent the scarlet speedster's homecoming, hatching
plans to bring an end to the legacy of the fastest man alive. When the
electrically-charged agents of this ominous threat — Mr. Sloe, Mr.
Steddy, and the psychotic Mr. Sprynt — come calling on the Rathaway
family, the Flash will need the help of all his friends to end a
potentially explosive hostage crisis. Now, with Wally West close at
hand, this mysterious foe may be close to achieving his sinister goals!
